Chrome - just recently introduced hardware acceleration. BCK works if the acceleration is disabled. To do this, type chrome://settings in the Chrome address bar to open the settings, then click 'Show advanced settings...' then uncheck 'Use hardware acceleration when available'. BCK stands for background mode.  Reboot your computer.
